The objective of this research is to find out the figurative languages in Broken Wings by Kahlil Gibran. This descriptive qualitative. data was taken from Gibran’s novel entitled “The Wings”. researcher analyzes based on Abrams’s theory (1999) about language. result analysis shows that Based table 9 above, there are several types language Wings” 292 contains 8 including simile, personification, metaphor, synecdoche, hyperbole, paradox, symbol, and proverb.
